About the player
Doucet's path to professional football ran through Nantes' academy, which he joined in 2015 after coming through Élan Sorinières and Landreau Loroux OSC. He won the Champion de France U17 title with Nantes in the 2018–2019 season and signed his first professional contract with the club in December 2021. In the 2022–2023 season he appeared as a substitute in the Trophée des Champions final, a match Nantes lost 4–0 to Paris Saint-Germain.
In August 2023, Doucet moved to Paris FC on loan for the 2023–2024 season. His performances there prompted the club to make the move permanent in July 2024, paying a fee of €300,000. He became a key part of the Paris FC squad that finished as Vice-Champion of Ligue 2 in the 2024–2025 season, a result that secured promotion to Ligue 1.
In January 2026, with Paris FC now in the top flight, Doucet was loaned to USL Dunkerque for the remainder of the 2025–2026 season, without an option to buy. He returned to Paris FC before completing a permanent transfer to Vitória de Guimarães, in Portugal, on 14 July 2026, signing a contract to June 2029.
