Mathis Clairicia

Mathis Clairicia grew up playing for CS Brétigny Football and FC Longjumeau before joining FC Fleury 91 in 2017, where he captained the U18 side and finished as the group's top scorer with 13 goals. Clermont Foot 63 signed him in 2020, and he spent two seasons largely with the reserve team in National 3, scoring eight goals in 24 appearances, while also making one senior appearance in the Coupe de France.

A move to Thonon Evian Grand Genève FC followed in 2022, where he made 52 league appearances across two seasons in Championnat National 2, scoring four goals. He joined VfL Bochum on a free transfer in June 2025 on a contract until 2028. His first season in the 2. Bundesliga brought nine league appearances and one in the DFB-Pokal, without a goal.

In January 2026, Bochum loaned him to Primeira Liga side FC Alverca for the remainder of the season, where he made nine appearances without scoring before the loan concluded at the end of June. He then moved on permanently, signing a two-year contract with an option for a third with FC Sochaux-Montbéliard in June 2026.

Clairicia is of Martiniquais and Malagasy descent. He has not yet earned senior international caps for either France or Martinique, though he has said he would like to represent Martinique.
