About the player

Mathys Tourraine's route to professional football ran through a spell without a club. Released by AS Monaco's academy in 2020, he signed with Poissy in February 2021 before joining Grenoble Foot 38's reserves the following year. He signed his first professional contract with Grenoble in March 2023 and made his Ligue 2 debut that same month, against Dijon FCO. Named the club's Player of the Month in April 2023, he scored his first senior goal that August, in a 2-0 win over Paris FC.

That performance against Paris FC preceded his move there a year later: Tourraine joined on a free transfer in June 2024, signing a three-year contract. He was part of the Paris FC squad that finished as Ligue 2 runners-up in the 2024-2025 season, and he spent the following period out on loan, first at Rodez AF and then at Clermont Foot 63 from January 2026. In July 2026 he moved on again, joining Pau FC on a free transfer.

Born in Lyon, Tourraine has represented Morocco at youth level, earning five caps for the Under-23 side in 2023 under coach Issame Charaï, in matches against Brazil, Iraq and the Dominican Republic.
