Sheikh Fall

Cheikh Fall, also known as Sheikh Fall, grew up in the Senegalese game with Espoirs de Guédiawaye, working his way up from the youth sides to the senior team between 2019 and 2022 after an earlier spell at ASCASE. That progression took him to France, where he joined Saint-Étienne's reserve side in October 2022. Over three seasons in Championnat National 3 he made 27 appearances and scored six goals.

His professional debut for Saint-Étienne came in June 2023, though senior opportunities in Ligue 2 proved scarce: across two seasons he was restricted to four league appearances and did not score. The move to Pau FC has given him a fuller role. In the league there he has made 22 appearances and scored twice, figures that reflect a more settled run in a first team than he found at his previous club. As part of the transfer, Saint-Étienne kept a 50% sell-on clause, a detail that ties any future move back to his former side.

Fall has not yet been capped by Senegal at any level, senior or youth, but he has spoken about wanting to represent his country at the Africa Cup of Nations U23 and at the 2028 Olympic Games. Those remain ambitions rather than achievements for now, with no individual honours or team titles yet attached to his name. His career so far has been a steady climb through smaller stages rather than one defined by a single breakthrough moment.
