About the player
Matt Lendfers has never had to move to get where he is. Born in Tongeren, he joined Sint-Truiden's youth academy in 2020 and worked his way through the ranks without a single transfer to his name. That internal route continued in July 2024, when he put pen to paper on a contract extension.
International recognition has followed, if modestly. Lendfers holds Belgian nationality alongside Dutch citizenship and has been capped once by Belgium's under-21 side.
Game time at senior level has been harder to come by. There is no major honour on his CV yet, no individual award to point to.
