Meyrambek Serikbay

Meyrambek Serikbay stayed at Makhtaaral when the club went down to the Second Division in 2024. He had been there since July 2018, when he arrived on a free transfer from Ordabasy-2, the reserve side where his career began. He spent six years at Makhtaaral and moved from the reserve team into the first team.

The Premier League came in March 2022, when he made his debut. He played 11 matches in the top flight that season and seven the next. Before that he had been a regular in the First Division: 15 matches in 2019, 12 in 2020 and 16 in 2021, the year Makhtaaral finished as runners-up. In all competitions he made 90 senior appearances for the club and scored eight goals. One of them came in the Second Division, in a 3-0 win over KAZAST.

In January 2025 he joined Kaspiy of Aktau, again on a free transfer. Kaspiy were in the First Division that year, and Serikbay played 25 matches and set up one goal. In 2026 the club returned to the Premier League, and he came with them. By September he had played 21 top-flight matches for Kaspiy and scored once.

He played at Makhtaaral through promotion, relegation and a Second Division campaign, and he is now back in the top flight with Kaspiy.
