Muhamed Šahinović

Muhamed Šahinović came through the ranks at FK Sarajevo, where his path to the first team wasn't quick: after signing his first professional contract in June 2020, he had to wait until October that year for a debut, in a Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup tie against Radnički Lukavac, and almost a further year for his first league appearance, against Leotar in September 2021. The Cup itself paid off before the league did — Sarajevo won the competition in the 2020–21 season while Šahinović was still waiting for his league bow. A new three-year contract followed in September 2022.

That future turned out to be elsewhere. In December 2023, Šahinović left for Raków Częstochowa in Poland, signing a contract running to 2028. His start there was interrupted almost immediately: having made his senior debut for the club against Legia Warsaw in April 2024, he suffered a leg injury in training that same month and missed the rest of the season. Raków sent him out on loan to Slovakia's MFK Zemplín Michalovce for the second half of the 2024–25 campaign, where he kept three clean sheets in ten league appearances before returning to Częstochowa in January 2025.

Šahinović has represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at youth level, moving up through the under-17, under-19 and under-21 sides, though a senior cap has yet to follow. Long before any of that, in 2014, he was named best goalkeeper at a youth tournament in Banovići.
