About the player
Nanne Ruuskanen won the Finnish league title twice with KuPS, in 2021 and 2022. She had come to Kuopio from Pallokissat, where she began her career in 2018. She joined KuPS on a free transfer in January 2019.
Her move to SK Brann in January 2023 was also a free transfer. The following month she made her senior debut for Finland against Croatia. By late 2024 she had two senior caps. Before that she had played for Finland at U18, U19 and U23 levels.
At Brann she played in the Toppserien, and the club finished second in 2024. On 16 January 2025 she signed for Djurgården, again on a free transfer. She now plays for the club in the Damallsvenskan, the Swedish top flight.
