About the player
Nick Janssen came through PSV's academy, working his way up through the club's age groups from JO15 to JO19 between 2020 and 2024. Those were internal promotions rather than transfers, with no fee attached at any stage.
In October 2025 the goalkeeper left PSV on a free transfer to join FC Eindhoven. He was registered with both the first team and FC Eindhoven's U21 side, but game time has been hard to come by. Jorn Brondeel has held the position as the club's first-choice goalkeeper, and Janssen has spent most of the opening months of the season on the bench rather than in the starting eleven.
