About the player
Pertlwieser is known back home as the "Glanegger Buam" — the boy from Glanegg, the Carinthian village where he began playing for SV Glanegg before moves to SV St. Urban and SV Feldkirchen took him through the local youth ranks. He joined the Wolfsberger AC academy in 2017 and reached the runner-up spot in the Jugendliga U18 with the club's youth side in the 2020/2021 season.
From there he settled into Wolfsberger AC II in the Regionalliga, making 86 appearances and scoring twice between 2021 and 2025. He was named to the first-team squad in April 2022 but never made a competitive debut for Wolfsberger AC's senior side. In July 2025 he left on a free transfer for SKU Amstetten in the 2. Liga, where he made 26 appearances and scored his first professional goal.
The step up came in July 2026, when Austria Lustenau signed him on a free transfer, tying him to a contract until 2029. The move followed the club's promotion to the Bundesliga, putting Pertlwieser into the top flight for the first time in his career. He has made seven appearances for Lustenau since.
Pertlwieser has yet to win a major title or individual award at senior level.
