Pemi Aderoju's most productive stretch came in the National League South, where he scored 20 goals in 28 appearances on loan at Eastbourne Borough in the second half of 2025. Peterborough United recalled him in December of that year, and in March 2026 he signed a new long-term contract with the club.

The route there ran through non-league football. Aderoju went to Bedford Modern School and began his senior career at Kempston Rovers, where he made 23 appearances and scored four goals between 2021 and 2023. A season at Biggleswade Town followed. He scored four goals in seven games there, and Peterborough took him on a free transfer in January 2024 after a trial, on an 18-month contract.

His first-team debut came within weeks. On 10 February 2024 he played in League One against Wycombe Wanderers. Opportunities at Peterborough have been limited since: he has made 11 league appearances for the club and scored once.

Loans have supplied most of his senior minutes. At Boston United in the National League he played 22 games and scored once. A spell at Farnborough in the first half of 2025 brought a single appearance. Eastbourne then gave him the run of games that changed the picture.

He is now on a season-long loan at Crawley Town in League Two. Aderoju is right-footed and has been part of England youth set-ups. He has not played senior international football for England or Nigeria.
