Paul Nsio

Paul Nsio emerged as a versatile talent during his time in the Scottish game, carving a path from London youth football through to the senior ranks. His journey began locally before he moved into midfield and defensive duties under manager Craig McLeish. Nsio joined the Rangers academy in June 2022 after stints with Lambeth Tigers. At just 16 years old, he made his first-team debut in August 2022, substituting into a Scottish League Cup victory against Queen of the South. He also featured in European competition against Union Saint-Gilloise. His development was accelerated through a loan move to Raith Rovers in September 2025. The spell proved pivotal. Over 31 appearances, he scored three goals, including his first professional strike in a heavy win over Ross County. He played in the final victory over Inverness Caledonian Thistle. His performances earned him the Raith Rovers Young Player of the Year award for the 2025–26 season. Moving to St Mirren on loan later in 2026, Nsio continued his progression. He quickly adapted to the Premiership, netting his first goal in the league in a dramatic 3-3 draw with Motherwell. Manager McLeish highlighted his willingness to play at right back, adding another dimension to his game. With six appearances and one goal already to his name for the Paisley side, he is a midfielder capable of covering multiple roles. He holds dual English and DR Congolese citizenship but has not yet earned international caps for either nation. His career trajectory shows a young player gaining experience through varied challenges rather than staying static in one position.
