Pele Arganese-McDermott

Pele Arganese-McDermott's first senior start came on 22 September 2026, in an EFL Trophy tie at Crawley Town that ended in a 4-1 defeat to Milton Keynes Dons.

He was born in Marbella and moved to England at the age of four. He holds both Spanish and English citizenship. His youth career began at Luton Town, and in February 2021 he joined Tottenham Hotspur's academy at Under-15 level. He became a full-time scholar with the Under-18s in the summer of 2022 and signed his first professional contract that September. In October 2023 he extended it until 2026.

His last season at Spurs was spent with the Under-21s in Premier League 2. He scored against Southampton's Under-21s in November 2025. He did not play for Tottenham's first team.

Crawley Town signed him on a free transfer in June 2026. His first senior appearances were as a substitute in the EFL Cup, in a 2-0 win over York City on 3 August and a 1-0 defeat at Watford five days later. He has also been named among the substitutes for a League Two match against Rochdale, without coming on.

He is eligible to play for either Spain or England but has not been capped by either at senior level.
