Pius Grabher

Pius Grabher is Austria Lustenau's own, in the truest sense. His most recent return, in July 2019, has become the defining stretch of his career. He has made more than 187 league appearances for the club in that spell alone, scoring six goals and setting up more than 25, and his total league appearances for Austria Lustenau across all three stints run past 280 — a record for the modern era at the club.

The high point came in the 2021–22 season, when Austria Lustenau won the Austrian second-tier title and went up to the Bundesliga. Grabher made 25 appearances that campaign and scored once, playing a key part in a promotion that changed the club's standing in Austrian football. He has made 33 Bundesliga appearances in 2022–23 and 25 the following season, alongside 16 outings in the Austrian Cup.

Before that promotion-winning spell, Grabher's path took him away from home twice. He first left in 2014 for FC St. Gallen II in Switzerland, then returned to Austria Lustenau a year later for a two-season stint before moving on to SV Ried in the Austrian second division in 2017. Since coming back for good in 2019, his contract has been extended through to 2027.
