Rayan Aït-Nouri

Rayan Aït-Nouri's Premier League career began with an announcement: on his debut for Wolverhampton Wanderers, against Crystal Palace on 30 October 2020, he scored the opening goal, becoming the youngest player to score for the club in the competition at the age of 19. He had arrived on loan just days earlier, a move that was made permanent the following summer for a fee of around £9.8 million.

He was named Wolves Player of the Month in December 2022, and in the 2024–25 season he ranked fourth among Premier League defenders for combined goals and chances created, contributing five goals and seven assists. Major honours eluded him at the club.

Born in Montreuil, he came through French youth football at Val de Fontenay, Le Perreux and Paris FC before Angers signed him, and he made his professional debut for the Ligue 1 club against Paris Saint-Germain in August 2018. Although he passed through France's youth ranks up to under-21 level, he chose to represent Algeria internationally, debuting in March 2023 in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Niger.
