About the player
Răzvan Tănasă grew up in the Gheorghe Hagi Academy in his home city of Constanța. He was there from 2009 to 2023, and it is the academy attached to Farul, the club he now plays for. He joined the Farul senior squad in 2022.
Farul did not keep him in Constanța to play. They sent him out on loan, and the two spells were very different. In the 2022–2023 season he went to Gloria Bistrița-Năsăud in Liga III. There he made 15 appearances and scored three goals, his first regular football among adults.
The longer stay came at Oțelul Galați, where he spent two seasons, 2023–2024 and 2024–2025. He made 63 league appearances there and scored six goals. That is a modest return for a winger.
He is now back at Farul. The younger academy graduate on Farul's squad list should not be confused with Cristian Tănase, the veteran who also played for the club in 2022–2023.
