Raúl Blanco Juncal

Raúl Blanco Juncal spent fifteen years in Celta Vigo's academy after joining at the age of eight, a stretch that took him through to the reserve side, Celta Fortuna, which he joined in December 2020. He captained Celta Fortuna during the 2022–23 season, wearing the number 10 shirt, and across his time with the reserves made 83 appearances and scored 17 goals. He finished as the side's top scorer in the 2023–24 Primera Federación campaign with six goals, and helped Celta Fortuna reach the promotion playoffs to the Segunda División in both that season and the one before it, though promotion was never achieved.

A loan at CD Arenteiro in 2021–22 brought 30 appearances and three goals. In July 2024, Blanco left Celta on a free transfer to sign a three-year contract with Casa Pia AC in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, making his professional debut for the club on 10 August 2024. He has since gone out on loan twice: first to Racing de Ferrol in the Segunda División in January 2025, where he made 14 appearances without scoring, and then to AD Alcorcón in the Primera Federación, where he has scored twice in 30 appearances.

Blanco, an attacking midfielder who plays left-footed, has represented Galician regional youth selections at both under-16 and under-18 level, though he has not won a senior or youth cap for Spain, nor has he collected any major titles or individual awards at club level.
