About the player
Rayan Touzghar was born in Avignon and raised through the youth ranks at AC Avignon, SC Orange, US Le Pontet, Marignane Gignac and Nîmes Olympique.
At Guingamp, Touzghar again started with the reserves before signing his first professional contract on 1 February 2024. His senior debut followed on 16 August 2024, in a 4-0 win over ESTAC Troyes in Ligue 2. A loan to US Concarneau in January 2025 gave him regular football in the Championnat National, where he scored four goals in 13 appearances.
Pau FC made that move permanent on 1 August 2025, signing him on a two-year contract. He went on to make 33 appearances and score three goals for the club. Despite holding Moroccan nationality through his parents and having represented the Morocco under-20 side twice in 2022, he has not yet earned a senior international cap.
In July 2026, Touzghar signed for Standard Liège in the Belgian Pro League on a three-year deal with an option for a fourth season, in a transfer reported at just under one million euros plus a resale clause benefiting Pau FC.
