About the player
Robert Alves joined Atlético Mineiro through the club's own youth system, signing his first professional contract there in 2021.
In 2025 the club sent him out on loan to Athletic Club, based in São João del Rei, before he returned to Atlético Mineiro. That spell away proved to be a stepping stone rather than a departure: back at Atlético Mineiro, his contract was renewed through to 2029, tying his future to the club for the rest of the decade.
