About the player
Siegert Baartmans came through Willem II's own youth academy, having joined the club as a boy after starting out at RKSV Halsteren. He waited for his chance in the first team, and it arrived on 17 August 2025, when he made his senior debut for Willem II.
The forward built on that appearance later in the year. On 4 November 2025 he signed his first professional contract with the club, tying him to Willem II until the summer of 2027 with an option for a further season. He also had a spell of involvement in the promotion play-offs for the Eredivisie, appearing in six matches and scoring once.
Willem II sent Baartmans out on loan to FC Eindhoven for the 2026/27 season, a move confirmed on 23 July 2026 and running until the end of June 2027. He has started three league matches for his loan club, totalling 268 minutes on the pitch, though he is yet to register a goal or an assist in that spell.
