About the player
Simo Bouzaidi left Córdoba CF in 2024 as one of the club's emblematic figures, with a record of 111 appearances, 23 goals and 11 assists across all competitions.
The Moroccan winger, born in Olot, came through Sevilla's academy after starting out at UE Olot. He worked his way up via Sevilla C and Sevilla B before Córdoba gave him the platform to become one of the side's most reliable attacking threats.
A season at CD Eldense followed his Córdoba exit, where he made 12 appearances and scored once, before a move to Marítimo in August 2025 for a fee of €300,000.
Bouzaidi has represented Morocco at youth level, turning out for the U17, U20 and U23 sides, though a senior cap has yet to follow.
