About the player
Sean Raggett stands well above most opponents at 195cm. Born in Gillingham, he came through at Lincoln City, where he was part of the side that won the National League title in the 2016–17 season, earning promotion into the Football League. That form took him to Norwich City in 2017, though he spent much of the following seasons out on loan, returning to Lincoln City before spells at Rotherham United, Tranmere Rovers and Portsmouth.
Raggett made 36 appearances during the 2019–20 season and was on the losing side in the EFL Trophy final against Sunderland, before signing permanently for Portsmouth that August once his Norwich contract had run out. He went on to become a regular fixture in the Portsmouth defence, was named the club's Player of the Season for 2021–22, and won the EFL League One title with them in 2023–24.
He moved to Cambridge United on loan afterwards, though appearances were limited to three matches as the club secured promotion from League Two to League One. Now settled at the club with the number 28 shirt.
