Semen Egorov

Semen Egorov arrived at Vitebsk from Russia in February 2023 on a free transfer. He quickly became a key figure for the club. In his first season Vitebsk took the bronze medal in the Belarusian First League, which brought promotion to the Premier League. It was a first year in Belarus that ended with the club going up.

Egorov had come through the academy of Khimki, where he stayed until 2017. His senior career began that year at Zelenograd, then at amateur level, and he stayed there for two seasons.

He joined Smolensk in 2019 and made 15 appearances in 2020, scoring once. In July 2021 he signed for Dynamo Saint Petersburg and played six matches before the year was out. Metallurg Vidnoye followed in February 2022: ten matches and a goal. That August he moved to Zvezda Ryazan, where he made nine appearances. All of these transfers were free.

Vitebsk has been a longer stay. Egorov has made 90 official appearances for the club and scored nine goals. In 2025 he also began turning out for Vitebsk-2, the reserve side in the Belarusian Second League. His contract with the club runs through 2026.

Vitebsk is one of the older names in Belarusian football. It won the Belarusian Cup in 1998 and has twice finished as runners-up in the Premier League.
