Sohan Paillard

Sohan Paillard is a product of Grande-Synthe football, having started out at Olympique Grande-Synthe before US Boulogne took him into their youth academy in 2014. He stayed in the club's youth system until 2021, working his way up rather than moving elsewhere to develop. That patience paid off with a captain's armband: Paillard led Boulogne's reserve side to a promotion final in June 2025.

His first-team debut came in 2023, though regular football at that level did not follow immediately. His first recorded competitive appearances in Ligue 2 and the Coupe de France arrived across the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 seasons, and by 2025/2026 he had become a fixture in the first-team squad. A right-footed midfielder who operates on the right side, he wears the number 28 shirt for Boulogne.

There is no record of a move away from Boulogne, whether permanent or on loan — his career to date has been built entirely within the one club, from the youth ranks through to the reserves and now the first team. His contract with Boulogne runs to the end of June 2026.
