About the player
Charlton Athletic signed Tyreece Campbell into their academy at the age of nine, in 2012, after trials at Crystal Palace and Fulham had not led anywhere. He turned professional on 21 July 2021 and made his senior debut for the club on 19 February 2022. Since then he has become a fixture in Charlton's forward line, wearing the number 7 shirt and operating as a forward or left winger.
Campbell played in the play-off final, a 1–0 win over Leyton Orient. In August 2026 he signed a new four-year contract at Charlton, turning down interest from Preston North End in the process.
Campbell qualifies for Jamaica and made his senior international debut on 10 June 2025, coming on as an 84th-minute substitute in a 3–0 win over Guatemala. He has since been capped eight times without scoring, featuring in World Cup qualifiers and named in Jamaica's preliminary squad for the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
