Thomas Andrew Nichols

Tom Nichols Having come through the club's academy and made his professional debut in May 2011, he spent his early years out on loan at Dorchester Town, Hereford United and Bath City. By 2013–14 he was Exeter's joint top scorer with six goals, and a year later he was the outright leader with 15.

That season brought a move. In February 2016 Peterborough United signed him for an undisclosed fee, later reported as £352,000. Bristol Rovers paid £350,000 for him in July 2017, and he stayed there until a loan at Cheltenham Town in 2020.

He scored 29 goals in 109 appearances at Crawley Town, whom he joined on a free transfer in the summer of 2020. Crawley's supporters named him Player of the Season for 2020–21, and his strike in March 2021 won the EFL League Two Goal of the Month award.

Gillingham signed him in January 2023 and Mansfield Town in January 2024. In January 2025 Mansfield sent him to Swindon Town on loan. When Mansfield released him, Swindon offered a permanent deal, and on 21 May 2025 he signed a two-year contract with the club.

Nichols plays off his right foot. He has not been capped by England at any level, senior or youth.
