Tobias Storm

Tobias Storm's move to NEC Nijmegen in the summer of 2026 closed one chapter and opened another rather quickly. The Danish defender had spent his entire career to that point at Lyngby Boldklub, having joined the club's academy from Hørsholm-Usserød IK, and made his senior debut there in September 2021 before signing his first professional contract the following year. Over roughly four and a half seasons he made more than eighty appearances for Lyngby, contributing two goals and an assist, and was part of the squad that won the Danish 1st Division in the 2025–26 campaign — the platform from which his transfer to the Netherlands followed.

NEC signed him on a four-year contract running until 2030, with the fee reported to be around €1.5–1.7 million. He wasted little time settling in: by September 2026 he had already featured in five league matches, four in the UEFA Champions League and one in the Europa League, giving him continental experience early in his time at the club. Storm operates as a centre-back, though he has also been used at right-back, and is right-footed.

At youth international level, Storm has moved steadily up the Danish ranks, collecting caps for the U18, U19 — where he also scored — U20 and U21 sides. He has yet to be capped by the senior Denmark team.
