Vykintas Slivka

Vykintas Slivka sat on the bench for Juventus against Genoa in the 2013–14 Serie A season, which ended in a title. He did not get on, and no winner's medal followed. It was as close as he came to the first team in Turin.

He had started out in the youth ranks of FK Ekranas before moving to Juventus, where he played 22 times for the Primavera side and scored twice. The next stage was a series of loans: Modena, ND Gorica, Den Bosch (from 2015 to 2017) and Ascoli.

In 2017 he joined Hibernian for an undisclosed fee and stayed until 2020. Two Greek spells followed, both on free transfers: Apollon Smyrnis until 2022 and then PAS Lamia 1964 until 2024.

In July 2024 he signed for Sagan Tosu. His first half-season in the J1 League brought 14 appearances and two goals, but the club was relegated. He stayed for the J2 League in 2025, playing 34 matches, scoring twice and setting up three goals as Tosu finished eighth. In July 2026 he came home to Lithuania on a free transfer to Kauno Žalgiris.

For Lithuania he made his debut on 5 June 2015 against Hungary. He has since won 71 caps and scored three goals: against Slovenia in qualifying for the 2016 World Cup, against Malta in qualifying for the 2017 World Cup, and against the Faroe Islands in the 2022 Nations League. His international appearances have come in World Cup and European Championship qualifiers, the Nations League and the Baltic Cup.
