About the player
Viktor Džodić is a product of the Montpellier HSC academy, having joined the club at the age of six in 2012 and staying through the whole of his development. He made his professional debut for the senior side on 9 August 2025, in a Ligue 2 match against Red Star FC, having come through Montpellier II the previous season. Born in Montpellier, he holds dual French-Serbian citizenship and represents Serbia at youth international level.
Since that debut he has made two senior league appearances, alongside 27 for the reserve team, and has signed his first professional contract with the club, running until 30 June 2028. Standing 1.86 m tall and right-footed, he wears the number 50 shirt at Montpellier.
His route into the game has a family thread to it: his father, Nenad Džodić, also played for Montpellier, and his brother Stefan is coming through the same academy.
