Vitor Reis

Vitor Reis started out at the local R10 Academy before Palmeiras brought him into their academy at the age of ten in 2016. He worked his way through the youth ranks there, signed his first professional contract in late 2022 and made his senior debut for the club in June 2024, capping a path that had already brought him a Copa do Brasil Sub-17 final with Palmeiras' youth side.

His rise accelerated fast from there. On 21 January 2025, less than a year after that first-team debut, he moved to Manchester City for a fee reported at £29.6 million, signing a four-and-a-half-year contract. He was part of the City squad that reached the 2024–25 FA Cup final, but by August 2025 he had been sent out on a season-long loan to Girona, where he now wears the number 12 shirt. In January 2026 he was named La Liga's U23 Player of the Month.

At international level, Reis has represented Brazil through the youth ranks, with three caps for the U-16s and eight for the U-17s, a side he captained. With that U-17 group he won the 2023 South American Championship and played at the FIFA U-17 World Cup the same year, before stepping up to the U-20s. He was included on The Guardian's Next Generation list in 2023, and named in the Troféu Mesa Redonda Team of the Year in 2024.
