Argir is a village that stopped being one.
For most of that time AB have been a club of the lower divisions, moving between the second and third tiers. The 2002 season brought the 2. deild title and a way out of the bottom division. AB won the 1. deild in 2017 and earned promotion to the Faroese top flight.
The seated section accounts for 415 of it.
The closest AB have come to a trophy beyond the divisional titles was the 2020 Faroe Islands Cup final. They met B36 Tórshavn, the club from the town that had absorbed their village, and lost 3–2. Neither the top division nor the cup has produced a title.
