Arka Pawlow

A village club under Pawłów's municipal sports society, Arka Pawłów came together on 4 July 2002, and for well over a decade that meant grinding through Klasa B and Klasa A without much attention beyond the Sandomierz district.

A third-place finish there in 2022/2023 pushed Arka into the fourth-tier IV Liga Świętokrzyska, where it has settled into mid-table finishes — 12th, then 14th — before this season's stronger run to third. The captaincy has stayed with Mirosław Kalista, who has scored more than 140 goals for the club.

In 2025/2026, Areczka reached the final of the Świętokrzyski Puchar Polski, beating MKS Czarni Połaniec 2-0 in the semi-final to get there. Locally, the fixture that matters most is against GKS Rudki from the neighbouring municipality, though there is a lighter rivalry closer to home too, between the football section and the club's own volleyball side, Volley Pawłów.

The Stadion Gminny w Pawłowie holds 1,500, though only 110 of those are seated, and there are no floodlights — a reminder of how modest the setup still is for a club now competing in the fourth tier. Arka has no official website; word travels through an unofficial Facebook page instead. For now, the task in front of the squad, with Piotr Mikos and Bartosz Szydłowski among the current players, is straightforward: hold onto third place in IV Liga Świętokrzyska and see the cup final through.
