Armadale sit in the National Premier Leagues Western Australia, still carrying the 500-capacity Alfred Skeet Reserve in Forrestdale as home ground.

The current identity dates only to 1997, when Armadale Soccer Club formed through an amalgamation with Armadale City — the club began life in 1972 before becoming Armadale Park Soccer Club in 1980 and relocating to Morgan Park. The Reds, as they are known, wear red and black.

The clearest mark on the club's history is the 2018 WA State Cup, won against Gwelup Croatia. Friday Zico, the South Sudanese international who played for Armadale between 2018 and 2021, is the name most associated with that period.

Cockburn City provide the closest thing to a derby.
