Artsakh

Noah had waited eight years for it. In 2025 the club won the Armenian Premier League for the first time, then took the Cup and the Super Cup in the same season — a clean sweep of everything on offer at home, arriving eight years after the club was founded in Stepanakert under a different name entirely. The Cup came round again the following year, in 2026.

That earlier name was FC Artsakh, formed in 2017 in Nagorno-Karabakh and playing in red and white. A change of ownership in 2019 took the club out of the region and into Armenia, and the rebrand went with it: Artsakh became Noah, a reference to the ark rather than to anywhere the team had actually played, and the kit switched to black and light green. No nickname has taken hold since — reference sources that track one simply list it as unknown.

Home matches have been played since the 2023/24 season at the Vahagn Tumasyan Stadium in Abovyan, built in 1966 and cut down to 3,100 seats after a 2021–2022 rebuild; the club's registered address stays in Yerevan, some way from the ground itself.

The nearest thing to a fixed rivalry is with Ararat-Armenia, first met on 15 September 2018 and 36 times since — the Black and Whites Derby, standing at 16 wins to 12 in Ararat-Armenia's favour with 8 draws as of May 2026. Continental football has brought Sion and CFR Cluj to Abovyan in the UEFA Conference League, without yet handing Noah a run through the competition worth setting down here.
