Ararat-Armenia enter the new Armenian Premier League season as champions, having claimed the 2025-26 title, and go into the campaign looking to build on a run that has produced two league titles in the last two years alongside the club's first Armenian Cup.

The club plays its home fixtures at the Yerevan Football Academy stadium, a ground that holds around 1,500 spectators, a modest setting for a side that has taken the top flight three times since 2019. That gap between stadium and trophy cabinet says something about how the club built itself: not through crowds, but through results on the pitch.

The 2023-24 Armenian Cup filled the one obvious space in the club's collection, arriving alongside a second Super Cup. Red and white are the colours, though no nickname has stuck the way it has at older Armenian clubs.

Ararat-Armenia should not be confused with the historic Ararat club of the 1930s; this is a separate institution, one that has packed three league titles into less than a decade since its founding. It began in the summer of 2017, not under its current name but as Avan Academy, before the rebrand that gave Yerevan a second club carrying the Ararat name.
