Brora Rangers

Six Highland Football League titles tell only half of it: the first, in 2013–14, opened a run in which Brora Rangers went 57 league matches without defeat across three seasons, a streak that ran until August 2015. Two more titles followed in 2019–20 and 2020–21, then a fourth in 2024–25 and a fifth straight afterwards, in 2025–26.

None of it travelled further than 23 March 2021. Hearts, second-tier and two divisions above them, arrived at Dudgeon Park for the Scottish Cup and left beaten 2–1, Jordan Macrae and Martin MacLean scoring either side of a Christophe Berra reply. A fifth-tier side had knocked out a club that had spent most of its history in the Scottish top flight.

Brora reached the Scottish Football Association in 1933 and joined the Highland League in 1962. The ground holds 4,000, 200 of them seated.

Wick Academy supply the fixture that matters locally, the Caithness–Sutherland derby. Stuart Kettlewell belongs to the club's playoff history rather than its cup one: his penalty settled the 2015 promotion tie against Edinburgh City.
