Budaörs

Budaörs have won the Duna Group of the Hungarian third division three times, in 2006, 2013 and 2015. In 2012–13 they finished top of the group and still stayed where they were, because they lost the promotion playoffs. They had to win the group again two years later.

Budaörs spent the following seasons in the second division, and in 2006–2008 Mihály Szűcs, a Ferencvárosi TC legend, played for them. They play there now, in the Northwest Group in 2024–25, and are scheduled for the Southwest Group in 2026–27.

The Magyar Kupa gave them their best week in 2018–19. In the last 16 they beat DVTK 5–3. In the quarter-final first leg they beat Budapest Honvéd by the same score, a result that would have looked unlikely on paper. The run ended in that round, and it remains the furthest the club has gone in the cup.

The nearest opponents are in Pest County. Taksony SE and Érdi Városi SE are the clubs Budaörs meet as county derbies, though the fixture has no name of its own. The women's team plays in the second division.

The club has worn green and white since it was founded in 1924, in a town on the edge of Budapest. Home games are played at the Árok utcai pálya, formally the Budaörsi Városi Stadion, which holds 1,300.
