Grorud

Grorud Stadion holds 1,741 seats in the Groruddalen valley.

The club took shape there in 1918, and for most of its life stayed within the lower divisions of Norwegian football. That changed in 2011, when Grorud won the 3. divisjon and moved up a tier. Eight years later they won the 2. divisjon as well, and the second promotion carried them into the 1. divisjon for the first time in the club's history in 2020 — a level Gule had never reached before.

The cup has been less kind. NM Cupen runs have stopped at the Second Round in most years Grorud have entered, 2025's tie against Lillestrøm among them.

Local matches carry their own weight. Games against KFUM-Kameratene Oslo are billed as the Oslo derby, Kampen om Oslo, and draw on a rivalry sharper than fixtures against Lyn, Vålerenga, Skeid or Kjelsås, the other clubs sharing the city.

Oscar Aga came through the club and left as the top scorer of the OBOS-ligaen in 2021, before moving on to Vålerenga and then IF Elfsborg.

Futsal has given the club its one outright national title: the Norwegian Futsal Championship, won in the 2014/15 season.
