Guangdong Mingtu filled part of it. The senior club was registered on 7 March 2024.

In 2023 its U16 side won the national youth championship; the following year the U17 team reached the final and lost it.

Mingtu won the Guigang regional division of the China League Two qualifying competition in 2024 and went through to the 16-team final stage. In 2025 the club finished 20th in China League Two, and its run in the FA Cup ended in the second round against Shenzhen Youth.

The club entered Chinese FA Cup qualifying again in 2026.
