Hollenbach

Hollenbach dropped back into the Verbandsliga Württemberg for 2026–27 after finishing the 2025–26 Oberliga Baden-Württemberg season in the relegation zone.

The rise itself began in 1998–99, when Ralf Stehle and Jürgen Wöppel took charge and pushed the side up from the Kreisliga through the Bezirksliga Hohenlohe, won in 2000, the Landesliga Württemberg I in 2007 and the Verbandsliga in 2010.

Hollenbach plays in red and blue, colours settled on for its first match in 1970, the year 52 members regrouped under the teacher Günter Steinke after an earlier club had folded two years before. The ground has carried the JAKO Arena name since 2011, after the sportswear firm that has sponsored the club since the late 1990s.

That firm exists because of a player who once wore Hollenbach's shirt. Rudi Sprügel turned out for the club between 1975 and 1977 before moving into the 2. Bundesliga with Würzburger Kickers, then founded JAKO in 1989. His company's backing carried the village side from the Kreisliga to a ground bearing his brand's name, and a foundation in Hollenbach now carries his own.
