Karviná II

The Silesian derby against Baník Ostrava is fought by the first team, not this one, but the green and white shirts the reserve side wears belong to the same club that fills the Městský stadion for that fixture. Karviná II carries the parent club's identity without carrying its rivalries.

MFK Karviná has been champion of the Czech National Football League twice, in 2015–16 and 2022–23, and won the Czech Cup in 2025–26 — before being administratively dropped back to the second tier in June 2026 over match-fixing allegations. None of that reaches the reserve side directly; it plays on several rungs below, in the Moravian-Silesian Football League or the Divize.

Home games are played at the Městský stadion in the Karviná-Ráj district, rebuilt between 2014 and 2016 to hold 4,833 — a capacity built for the first team's derby crowds, not for a reserve fixture. The senior side carries the nickname Karviňáci; the B team has never needed one of its own.

The club's history begins with the parent side rather than the reserve team: MFK Karviná was formed in 2003 after the bankruptcy of its predecessor, FC Karviná, itself once known as FK Baník Karviná and MFK OKD Karviná. TJ Jäkl Karviná took over the youth set-up left behind by the collapse.
