Leithaprodersdorf

Leithaprodersdorf play their football in the lower tiers of the Austrian pyramid, in the Burgenland league system. Their fixtures take them to SK Pama, ASK Kohfidisch, SC Pinkafeld and ASV Siegendorf. These are local rivals, though none of the meetings has a derby name of its own. Home games are in the LeithArena, which holds 2,000 and wears the club's black and white.

The high point came in the 1977/78 season. Leithaprodersdorf won the Landesliga Burgenland, the regional championship that now sits at the fourth level of Austrian football. The title earned promotion to the Regionalliga Ost, a step up that the club has not repeated with a trophy since. They have no record of winning the Austrian Cup or a national title.

The best-known name on the bench is Thomas Darazs, who had played for FK Austria Wien and the Austrian under-21 national team. He coached SV Leithaprodersdorf in 2011–2012, left, and came back for 2012–2013.

The club goes by several names. SK Leithaprodersdorf and SV Leithaprodersdorf are both in use, the second short for Sportverein. All of them trace back to 1946, when a football club was formed in the Burgenland municipality of Leithaprodersdorf.
