The women's side sits under Los Angeles SC, a club with German roots going back to 1951, when it started life as the Los Angeles Kickers. That history belongs to the men's team, whose U.S. Open Cup wins in 1958 and 1964 sit in a different column altogether — the Frauen side has not carried any of that forward, nor built silverware of its own yet, including during a run in the United Women's Soccer league as recently as 2023.
