Mladost Lučani

The Stadion Mladost holds 8,000, more than the population of the town it serves — Lučani sits in the Moravica District of western Serbia, and on matchdays the ground pulls in support from well beyond the municipal boundary. The capacity has outlasted several changes in fortune for the tenants, who have needed every one of those seats more often for cup football than for anything in the top flight.

Founded in 1952, Mladost spent the following decades working through the regional leagues before establishing themselves as a fixture of Serbia's second tier, where they topped the table four times — in 1994–95, 2000–01, 2006–07 and 2013–14 — without turning any of those titles into lasting top-flight status. The nickname Uran, and the supporters who call themselves the Uranium Boys, trace back to that same grinding period in the lower divisions rather than to any single triumph.

The closest the club has come to silverware at national level was the 2017–18 Serbian Cup, where they reached the final and lost 2–1 to Partizan. For a side from a town of a few thousand people to face one of Belgrade's two dominant clubs on a final stage marked the high point of the Uran story so far — the same story that started on the pitch at Stadion Mladost in 1952.
