Pyunik Yerevan

Pyunik's women's section grew out of a men's club that already had the country's biggest name behind it. It took over a decade for that side to turn the parent club's dominance into silverware of its own.

The breakthrough came back to back: champions of the Armenian Women's Premier League in 2023/24 and again in 2024/25. A cup final reached the season before those titles, in 2022/23, ended in defeat to Syunik Girls.

Home games are shared between modest venues around the capital — the Junior Sport Stadium, part of Pyunik's own training centre, holds close to a thousand, with the Yerevan Football Academy ground used as an alternative. European nights, when the club's league form earns a place in the UEFA Women's Champions League, move the fixture to the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium.

What the run of titles has not yet done is turn into a cup, and a final already lost once against Syunik Girls leaves that gap in the trophy cabinet still open.
