Rosengård

LdB had taken that name in 2007, after Malmö FF's women's section, independent since 2004, ran into money trouble and needed a skincare firm's backing to keep going. Underneath both names ran the same team, founded on 7 September 1970 as Malmö FF Dam.

What survived every rebrand was winning. Fourteen Damallsvenskan titles carry three different names across them — five as Malmö FF Dam in the 1980s and 90s, three as LdB, six as Rosengård since 2014 — which makes the club Sweden's most decorated in women's football. Marta played for it; so did Caroline Seger.

Malmö IP holds 7,600, modest enough that the club moves to Eleda Stadion, with room for around 22,500, for its biggest fixtures. This January, Crux Football bought a 49% stake in a new company built to run the club commercially, FC Rosengård Elitfotboll AB, while the parent association kept its majority of the votes.

The derby that matters most is played against the club whose name Rosengård once carried and then dropped — Malmö FF.
