Serbia U19 have won the UEFA European Under-19 Championship once, in 2013 in Lithuania, beating France 1–0 in the final on a goal from Andrija Luković, reached after three semi-final exits in the years around it: 2009 against Ukraine, 2011 against the Czech Republic, and 2014 against Portugal, lost on penalties after a goalless draw.

The team was known as Yugoslavia at this level from 1951, then as Serbia and Montenegro after 2003, before taking the name Serbia in 2006 following the break-up of the state union. The Football Association of Serbia is recognised by FIFA and UEFA as the inheritor of that record, so the 2013 title sits on a lineage that predates the country's current name.

The squad trains at the Football Association's own Sports Center in Stara Pazova, outside Belgrade, and plays its home fixtures around the country rather than at one fixed ground — Stadion Čukaričkog and Stadion Zemun both serve as venues alongside Stara Pazova itself.

Aleksandar Mitrović, Sergej Milinković-Savić and Predrag Rajković all came through this side before senior careers took them elsewhere, and Luka Jović and Nikola Milenković followed the same route.

A second European under-19 title has not followed since 2013, and none of the three semi-final defeats either side of it turned into a final appearance.
