Stirling University

The 2011–12 season is the one the university side keeps returning to. That year the club won the East of Scotland League Premier Division, and it also took the SFA South Region Challenge Cup and the East of Scotland King Cup. The Alex Jack Cup came in 2011–12 too, the second year running. Two seasons earlier the club had won the First Division, so the Premier Division title followed the promotion.

The league title led to the Lowland League, which the club joined in 2013. Its first season there ended with the Lowland League Cup, in 2013–14. The step up also ended the campus years. The Gannochy Sports Centre, where the team had played until then, now hosts the second team. The first team went to Forthbank Stadium, which it shares with Stirling Albion. Those are the nearest rivals, though the fixture has no name. For two seasons, 2016–17 and 2017–18, the club played at the Falkirk Stadium before returning to Forthbank in 2018.

The club was formed in 1969, two years after the university opened. It has since won the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUSA) Premier Division North six times.

The 2014 season brought Shelley Kerr to the dugout. She was the first woman to manage a senior men's team in British football, and she left for the Scotland women's national team. The High Performance Football Programme, run with Falkirk since 2008, is named after Craig Gowans, a Falkirk player who died in 2005. Players from it have signed for Livingston, Montrose, East Fife and Elgin City, and Stephen Hoyle went as far as Hawke's Bay United in New Zealand.

The 2023 East of Scotland Qualifying Cup and City Cup are the club's most recent trophies outside student football. The Premier Division title of 2012 has not been repeated.
