Wiślanie Jaśkowice

The club that carries the river's name has never quite belonged to one place: it plays its football across town, at the Stadion Miejski known locally as Stadion Milenium.

The turn came in 2012/13, when the club won its group of the Klasa Okręgowa and stepped up to the IV Liga. Four years later it did it again, taking the Małopolska Zachód group of the IV Liga and beating Limanovia in the promotion play-offs to reach the III Liga for the first time in the club's history. The following season brought an eighth-place finish there, still the club's best in that division.

Piotr Kazek belongs to that period as one of the names supporters still bring up; Remigiusz Szywacz arrived with Ekstraklasa experience from Ruch Chorzów and Polonia Bytom.

Derby day means Skawinka Skawina, a fixture with no love lost between two clubs sharing the same small town. Cup football brought its own reward in 2023/24, when Wiślanie beat Garbarnia Kraków 1:0 to lift the Kraków Subdistrict Cup, having already gone out of the regional Polish Cup to Podhale Nowy Targ on penalties in the semi-final that same season.

None of it changes what the club still is at its core: red, white and navy blue, playing its football a short walk from the water that gave the town its name.
