The Capricorn Women's Tri-Series is a recurring international women's cricket tournament hosted by Cricket Namibia in Windhoek. It features matches classified as Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is), which count towards International Cricket Council world rankings. The competition is distinct from domestic leagues, serving as a fixture for national sides rather than club teams.

The series derives its title from Capricorn Group, a financial services firm holding the naming rights and sponsorship for the Namibian women's national team. This entity also sponsors the tournaments themselves. The inaugural edition took place in 2022, marking the first women's tri-series hosted in the capital. That opening event featured Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Uganda. The contest utilized a triple round-robin group stage before crowning a winner through a final match between the top two sides. Zimbabwe Women claimed the inaugural title, defeating Namibia by seven wickets.

Subsequent editions have adapted in structure and participants. The 2023 iteration expanded to a quadrangular format, adding Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates while dropping Zimbabwe. This version employed a double round-robin system with both a final and a third-place playoff. Uganda Women secured that year's championship, beating Namibia by three runs. A 2024 edition returned to a tri-series format involving Namibia, Zimbabwe, and the UAE. The winner of this later contest remains less clearly documented than in previous years, with some accounts describing a round-robin without a final.

These tournaments provide crucial preparation for teams aiming for larger ICC events, such as the Women's T20 World Cup Qualifiers. The series operates independently of the Victoria Series, a similar international tournament hosted by Uganda. It is exclusively an international series managed by the national governing body, with no evidence linking it to a separate domestic franchise league in Namibia. The competition stands as a regular stop for participating nations, fostering competitive cricket in the region.
